Paula Abramson has been in the field of education for over 30 years.  She has enjoyed teaching pre-kindergarteners to adults, along with directing an adult and community education program in central Maine.

Nancy Behan is an avid re-cycler who loves to share her crafting talents.

Kristin Burgess has designed jewelry for many years and shows her designs on etsy.com.

Milda A.Castner, Esq. has been practicing law in Maine since 1983. Her emphasis is in estate planning, probate administration and contested probate matters, elder law, real estate, and municipal law. She has served on many boards and committees and she frequently meets with community groups to discuss probate and estate planning issues. 

Rob Chermak has been a bicycle mechanic for over 30 years and is owner of Hut Sixty 6 Cyclery & Surf in Ogunquit.

Cally Comenos has lived in Italy for many years and has taught many language and cooking classes in the area.

Julie Cunningham is a professionally trained individual Style and Image Consultant. Her dynamic, exciting presentations involve students fully. She is a certified color and image consultant with her own business in Portland. She gives lectures, demonstrations nationally.

Amanda Cutrer is a York Adult Education computer instructor.

Bob Davidson is a licensed long-term care specialist and one of only three representatives in Maine trained and authorized to offer long-term care courses endoresd by the AARP.

Pamela Doughty is an experienced teacher and professional musician with the Portland Symphony.

Anita Findlen CHt, (Hypnotic Solutions/ Gardens of Atlantis) is certified in Past Life Regression therapy by Henry Bolduc, a nationally renowned regression master for 45 years.  She is a successful long-term adult educator who has her own successful  Hypnotherapy practice.

Marina Forbes has taught art classes in many adult education programs.

Ray Fowler’s career has included a tour with the USAF Security Service; he was a senior planner for the Minuteman Missile Program. An internationally respected UFO researcher, he has written ten books on the subject.

Kristin Fuhrmann is a cook, specialty cake business owner, and Food Writer for the York County Coast Star.

Claudia Fuschillo is an enthusiastic teacher of French at KHS.

Marcus Gale is a children’s musician, composer, songwriter and storyteller who has performed at family festivals throughout northern New England. 

Jane Garnsey’s life goal from the age of six was to draw. Now a professionally trained and supportive art teacher, she encourages students to use class to build an artistic framework so they can successfully create their own artwork at home when class is over. Jane has taught art in the Wells school system for many years.

Scott Gasperin has spent the past 20 years trying to learn how to capture the wonders found in our world with his camera.  His images have been published in travel guidebooks and magazines, and have been on display in local galleries.

Dennis Gosselin is an enthusiastic dance teacher who presents class material in a sequential progression of steps. His students see him as an instructor who increases student confidence.

Dawna Hall is an expert in residential orgnizing and design.

Lucy Hardy is a lifelong re-cycler and has taught many craft and sewing classes.

Shelli Hope-Pride has worked in Adult Education for the past ten years.  During this time,  she has taught basic to advanced computer at various Adult Education programs throughout southern Maine and at USM.  

Nicole Jacques is director of marketing at The Landing School, has worked in the marine industry for more than a decade, and is an avid one-design sailboat racer.

Fran Keating operates Summertime Delight Herb Garden in Kennebunk.

Beth Keezer is in her 26th year of teaching at Kennebunk High School.  During the past year, she has worked with juniors to develop SAT test taking skills and has trained them on how to use the computer program and to analyze their tests.

Jean Schmid Lakari began her Yoga education in Daramasala, India, in 1986 and continued at the Yoga Center in Portland, Maine.  She has studied with nationally recognized Iyengar Yoga teachers as well as advanced teachers of Kundalini Maha yoga.  She has been teaching in southern Maine since 1990.

Kathleen Angel Lee‘s passion and avocation has been sewing since she was twelve years old and has been quilting since the 1980s.  She looks to nature for her inspiration.  She is a member of the American Quilters Society, the Art Quilts Maine chapter of the Pine Tree Quilters Guild, the Art Guild of Kennebunk, the International Quilt Association, ME Women in the Arts, Maine FiberArts, Seacoast Area Fiber Artists and Studio Art Quilt Associates.

Jose Linares has taught ESOL, Civics and Spanish to many adults.

Manuela Lorenzi-Kayser is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, certified by the Yoga Alliance, an organization that sets minimum educational standards for yoga teachers. She’s been practicing yoga for the past 30 years and has been teaching Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and Mixed Level Yoga since 2004.

Cynthia Anne Lozier teaches basic green cleaning workshops and operates His & Herbs, an information focused business dedicated to cleaning "lite".

Debbie Mercier has been a certified herbalist for over ten years. She teaches classes on plant identification and medicine making and is owner of Greenwood Herbals in Limerick.

Martha McGannon’s background is communications. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Marty is an Alternate Examiner for GED testing. She is patient and positive as she gives her students confidence. 

Georgie Nelson is a commited Intuitive Healer who has completed the Possibilities DNA courses and the Master’s Classes. She is also a Certified Qi Gong instructor.

Kathy Nutter started training dogs at eight years old in her own backyard. She has taught dog obedience classes in Adult Education for the past eight years.  

Gordon Platt, a USM alumnus, is a Certified Business Counselor in York County for the Maine Small Business Development Centers and a Small Business Development Counselor who has had many experiences in business settings. His areas of expertise include purchasing, marketing, advertising, sales, budgeting/ cash flow management, and human resources.

Cathy Rowe, certified as an Interior Decorator and a Color Consultant, is owner of Well Dressed Interiors which offers a full range of residential design services.

Cindy Sauve has expertise in a wide range of crafts.

Ron Sauve has many years of experience in building remodeling with particular emphasis on energy conservation and green building design. He tailors his seminar to the needs of the participants and provides many helpful handouts with information from his website.

Becky Test has over 11 years experience as a Microsoft Network administrator MSSE-CCNA. She has taught a wide range of adult technology classes, including Office, HTML and Digital Imaging.

Barry Tibbetts is Kennebunk’s Town Manager; he has been involved in the town’s government since 1993 and has been in the Manager’s position since 1998.  He is a graduate of USM with a degree in Business Management, and he holds the credential of Nationally Accredited Town Manager.  

Donna Urban has been assisting students and instructions for two years at Adult Education of the Kennebunks.  She is available to answer any questions and solve problems for you.

Janet Wendle is our academic coordinator.   She is available in the evenings to meet with academic students to help them to achieve their learning goals. She will meet, by appointment, with GED, ESOL, and Clerical Certificate students.  She also teaches art at Consolidated School.

Margaret Wibel is enjoying her seventh year at Adult Education of the Kennebunks and has worked in adult education in Maine for nine years; prior to that, she was an executive assistant in several Fortune 500 companies in the New York City area. She is happy to help both students and teachers. She is also a competent and patient teacher of Computer for Seniors.

Shelley Wigglesworth is a Maine Master Gardener who has taught many gardening classes in the area.

Michelle Wilson is an avid jewelry designer who enjoys teachingstudents.

Pauline Wilson has a Bachelor’s Degree in biology, with a chemistry minor. She has worked as a Medical Assistant in Kennebunk for 15 years. She began her study of Reiki in 2000 and received her Master Teacher Degree in 2002. Pauline currently conducts a Reiki practice in her home.

Alexis Wright is a  Levels one and two certified Zumba insstructor, has enthusiastically taught at many locations in the area.
