This morning was one of those times when I count my blessings. Our school community came together for our first Friday Morning Meeting of the year. Seeing the number of parents and visitors joining us for this special occasion was wonderful. Our fifth graders did some sharing related to the construction project. PC Construction's Project Superintendent Mike Woodhouse told me after the meeting that the students did a great job and they are what makes the work worthwhile. Our third graders shared their recent social skills learning related to greeting others with eye contact and asking questions. Lastly, our brave kindergarteners shared a vowel bat song with all of us. Kudos to them for presenting at their first Friday Morning Meeting ever. I hope that if you were able to join us that you were just as pleased as I was with our students. If you weren't able to join us, we hope that you can in the near future. Our next Friday Morning Meeting will be our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Dec 2nd @ 8:30.
