MSK Weekly Bulletin - October 7, 2016

Enjoy the long weekend and we’ll see you back in school on Tuesday, October 11th.

MSK's student flu vaccine clinic will be held on October 20th.  Please see the permission form.  This year, the nasal form of the vaccine will not be available.  A policy statement issued earlier this month by the AAP "recommends against the use of the live attenuated influenza vaccine nasal spray this year because it was only 3% effective during the previous influenza season." Therefore, the state is not supplying any vaccine in this form.  If you have any questions, please contact Donna D'Iorio RN at 467-9003.

Student and staff photos will take place on Thursday, October 28th in the morning (THIS IS A DATE CHANGE FROM THE 20TH).

Ident-A-Kid Letter

What a fantastic week we had up at the Leadership School at Kieve with our 7th grade students and staff.  We’d like to thank the Education Foundation for their financial support in helping to make this trip affordable for our students and their families, and a big thank you to Weirs Motors for the use of their trucks to transport equipment.

Students can sometimes be forgetful and leave their personal items behind at school.  We are working to place all of MSK’s lost & found items into a photo gallery so parents can browse for items and claim them. You can see what is here by going to We will continue to catalog lost items and update the photo gallery each week.  This page is also linked to our middle school home page under “Information - Lost and Found”.

Your bottles and cans will be sent to CLYNK to be counted and a credit will be applied to our MSK CLYNK account to be used for student support.
