UPDATED: 2016 MSK Tennis Information
MSK Athletic Eligibility
We still have quite a few fall athletes without the proper paper work filled out to participate in MSK athletics. Please be sure to fill out the information on Rank One so that your student athlete will be eligible to participate this year. I encourage you to fill out the forms now even if your child doesn’t play a fall sport. The following link will take you to the Rank One site that will give you the directions on what to fill out and how to fill out the form. If the link doesn’t work, copy and paste it into the address bar. https://maineregional.rankonesport.com/Main/Default2.aspx?Type=3
We are pleased to announce that we will be able to provide tennis this fall. The tennis program will take place at the tennis courts at Goose Rocks (Community House Road) and our tennis players will be transported to practice by the after school bus that travels to Goose Rocks. Practice will start close to 3 pm and go until 4 pm. Parents will need to pick up their child at Goose Rocks at 4 pm or back here at MSK at 4:45 pm. If a parent is not at Goose Rocks by the time the bus leaves for MSK, students will have to take the bus back to MSK and get picked up at MSK. There is no late bus transportation available for tennis players.
Tennis sign ups are happening now outside Mr. Taylor’s room on the 6th grade wing, Mr. MacLeod’s room on the 7th grade wing and Mr. Hemond’s room on the 8th grade wing. We will need to know who our interested tennis athletes are by Tuesday morning (September 13th) so we can get some matches put back on the league schedule.
8th Grade Science Teacher/MSK Athletic Director
Sign ups for the following sports will occur Tuesday, September 6th and Wednesday, September 7th outside Mr. Hemond's room for 8th graders, Ms. Meinder's room for 7th graders and Mr. Taylor's room for 6th graders.

8th Girls Soccer - Coach Prince
7th Boys Soccer - Coach Francois
8th Boys Soccer - Coach Bibeau

Unfortunately we will not be having tennis this fall due to the construction at KHS.
Please access Rankonesport.com to complete your child's athlete card and print out the form to have their doctor sign the physical form.
Protocol for away games is as follows:
Athletes will get on the bus for away games in the front of our building between 2:15 and 2:30. Athletes should wait for their coach before they get on the bus. Athletes are expected to travel to and from the games by RSU 21 buses.
In the event that a parent or guardian would like to take their son/daughter home from the away contest, the parent needs to sign their child out with the coach. If a parent wants their child to go home with another parent, they will need to get that in writing to Mr. Hemond for approval. Their is a form on our website that can be filled out and brought into school prior to the contest or emailed to Mr. Hemond at firstname.lastname@example.org.
