Food Drive Results!

In a collaborative effort, KAKEA, Educational Technicians, Transportation, Grounds, Custodial and Maintenance, and School Administrators Associations, alongside the Central Office, Board of Directors, and KHS Athletic Department recently co-sponsored a highly successful food drive.

Thanks to the community's generous support at the boys and girls double-header soccer games, we gathered three full boxes of food and raised $738 in financial contributions. I also want to recognize and thank Joe Schwartzman for organizing the event's logistics. Traci Anello, Director of the Community Gourmet, expressed her gratitude, sharing, “We want to thank you for the wonderful opportunity to work with the Boosters Club in raising support for our program. Currently, we are delivering 100 food packages a week to students. We deeply appreciate this assistance and thank you for everything you do.” Looking ahead, our next joint effort will focus on a holiday food and fundraising drive to support RSU 21 staff members and their families in the coming months.
