SCHOOL PHOTOS - MONDAY, OCT 15TH
MSK school photos are scheduled for Monday, October 15th and photo forms were distributed to homeroom teachers to go home with students. We have extra forms available in the office if needed AND you can also order online at www.mylifetouch.com with the ID code: LG388053Q0.
It is important that every child be photographed (even if you don’t plan on purchasing prints) so they can be issued an ID card and have their picture in the yearbook.

MORNING DROP OFF
We have noticed that traffic on Thompson Road is backing up as parents drive their children to school in the morning and drop off in the front of the building. We want to remind you of the alternative drop off spot, which is in the parking lot behind the Dorothy Stevens Center. If you drive your child to school you can travel via Alewive Road, go past the Elementary school and turn left on to Thompson Road. Then you can enter the driveway between the Dorothy Stevens Center and MSK for a faster drop off. (Please remember to enter the lot itself to drop off at the cross walk and continue around to exit the lot so as not to interfere with buses and other vehicle traffic). Students will enter the building through the glass hallway.

NEW / MSK T-SHIRTS AVAILABLE FOR SALE
We are now offering MSK T-shirts in various sizes for just $10 each. Stop by the office and pick one up if you’re interested. We will sell them until we are out of stock and then purchase more if needed.

SUPERWALK UPDATE FROM THE PTG
The Superwalk was a huge success, from an enjoyable walk to a fun outdoor party after! We really appreciate everyone's time and effort in making the walk safe and pleasant for all, and in cheering on the walkers.  In addition to the fun, we raised over $13,000 for MSK!! The students did a great job getting pledges, so we will be able to fund many things throughout the school year!! Thank you to all of the volunteers, participants and contributors in making this the success it was.

PTG 7TH/8TH GRADE COSTUME DANCE
The PTG will be sponsoring a costume dance for the 7th & 8th graders on Friday, October 26th, 6:30-8:30pm.  We will need volunteers to help with decorating the gym/lobby/cafeteria after school and also volunteers to run the concession table and admission table. Please reach out to us at mskptg.me@gmail.com if you are able to help in any way. Thank you, Denise Hammond and Lorraine Burr

KENNEBUNK PARIS TRIP 2019
Next spring, Mr. Williams (MSK French teacher), will be taking interested Kennebunk students (grades 7-12) to Paris and Versailles over April Vacation. This is not a school-sponsored trip.

The in-depth exploration of Paris allows time to appreciate the neighborhoods, cuisine, and culture of the city, while students flex their navigation, budgeting, and language skills. Choosing the perfect bistro, brasserie, café or crêperie for dinner each evening, preparing for a picnic in the Jardins de Luxembourg, and shopping on the Champs-Elysées will provide a lifetime of memories for everyone.

Students can enroll online at: http://studentslovetravel.com/enrollment/register OR email Mr. Williams: tadwilliams@me.com for more information. To reserve your spot, please enroll ASAP!
