All fall sports will begin on Monday, September 10th. Late buses will be available after school for those who will need a ride home.

For those athletes who will be participating in Tennis, please be aware that they will take their regular bus to the high school for practice after school. Students can be picked up at KHS after practice at 3:50 pm or take the late bus home from there.

Please make sure that you have provided us with the Medical Release form signed by a physician and you have filled out an Athletic Card and the Concussion Management form online through RankOne. This can be found by going to and clicking on the Rank One tab. Each athlete needs to have these three things completed before they will be allowed to participate. If you are interested in team schedules, these can be found at
There is also a new MSK Athletics Twitter page (@MSKathletics) which you can follow for daily updates and other important information.

Homework Help will begin for all students on Monday, September 10th. This is an after school program that runs Monday-Wednesday, in which students can stay and get their work done in a quiet, structured environment. There will be a separate room for each grade which will ideally keep groups small and more productive. The late bus will be available to students. This year, the advisor for the Homework Help program is Nicole Desjardins and she can be reached at with questions.

The MSK PTG is pleased to kick off our pledge drive for our 6th annual SUPERWALK fundraiser on Friday, September 21st. This successful event is our ONE major fundraiser of the year.  Students are asked to raise pledges to fund the MSK PTG grant fund. This fund is used to support teacher grants, pay for the ever-rising cost of field trips and support new school initiatives. We are in need of your support! Students were given pledge envelopes during the first week of classes.  Please encourage your child to seek pledges and return the envelope to their advisor before or on the day of the walk. The more we raise, the more we can help!

You will hear more about this during the open houses scheduled for next week. If you have any questions, please contact us at Thank you for your support, Lorraine Burr & Denise Hammond

Just a reminder that the 7th grade parent information meeting for students attending the Leadership School at Camp Kieve is scheduled for Tuesday evening, September 18th at 6:30 p.m. here at MSK. Please contact your child’s advisor if you have any questions or concerns.
