Yesterday, ten fifth graders at KCS competed in the annual Civic Oration contest. Fifth graders have been working hard to write speeches about what it means to be a hero. Ten students were selected to give their speeches in front of three judges, their peers, and proud staff and parents.
Finalists: Laird O'Brien, Chris Dakers, Hannah Viden, Hannah Roche, Harry Read, Kiera Battagliese, George Cutone, Sophia Grassi, Sam Nill, and Ezra Savard
Taking third was Chris Dakers, in second Sophia Grassi, and Hannah Roche took first. Congratulations to everyone who participated! We're so proud of all their "super" hard work!
