CHCA - STUDENT HANDBOOKS
In order to inform students, parents and staff members of pertinent Board policies, school rules and procedures, the administration shall publish student handbooks containing information about the school unit as a whole and the individual schools. The contents of student handbooks must conform with Board policies, administrative procedures, and state and federal laws and regulations.
Handbooks shall be distributed to students at the beginning of each school year, and to new students when they enroll. Board members shall also receive copies of student handbooks.
The Superintendent shall ensure that student handbooks are reviewed on an annual basis and updated as appropriate and ready for distribution before the start of the school year.
