IHDA - STUDENT ADMISSION TO ADULT EDUCATION

 

Individuals under 17 years of age will be allowed to attend adult education if they have completed the prescribed procedure with the guidance and adult education offices and they meet one of the following criteria:

 

1. The student falls under one of the following categories:

 

a. The student is not attending day school due to truancy or personal/medical problems.

b. The student is a potential dropout for whom other alternatives have failed.

c. The student is deficient in total number of credits and is seeking graduation with his/her class.

d. The student is judged by a Pupil Evaluation Term to be in need of adult education due to emotional or social stresses.

 

2. The student in good standing is taking a course not offered in day school, subject to the approval of the department head and/or Principal.
